Ben Franklin Flies a Kite in Sleepy Hollow Season 2 TV Spots

Fox’s Sleepy Hollow will pay more visits to the past as a great mystery that dates back to the days of the Founding Fathers slowly unravels in Season 2. Playing in the sandbox of the Revolutionary War opens  the door for many historical figures to appear, and one of them with an interest in flying  kites makes his debut in these two new Sleepy Hollow Season 2 TV spots.

Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and potentially the Headless Horseman will cross paths with Benjamin Franklin in Season 2 of Sleepy Hollow. Ben actually has a significant role considering actor Timothy Busfield has been brought on as a series regular to fill those important shoes. He’s also got a sense of humor judging by the wink Ben delivers to someone off-camera in the TV spot below.

As these new Sleepy Hollow Season 2 TV spots imply, the next batch of all-new episodes will be one “wild ride” as Ichabod and Lieutenant Abbie Mills (Nichole Beharie) continue to deal with the Headless Horseman and the mystery that surrounds his resurrection and tormenting of the present.

Returning for Sleepy Hollow Season 2 in addition to Mison and Beharie are John Noble, Orlando Jones and Katia Winter. Joining Busfield as a new kids on the block are Matt Barr as arms dealer Nick Hawley, and Sakina Jaffrey as Sheriff Reyes.

Fox will premiere the first of 18 new Sleepy Hollow Season 2 episodes on Monday, September 22 at 9/8c. That’s a five-episode bump from the 13 episodes that Fox produced and aired for the inaugural season.
