The HBO Emmy Award-winning series Barry recently aired its Season 2 premiere on March 25th. Response to the premiere and subsequent two episodes that have also aired were strong enough for HBO to quickly renew Barry for a third season.
Barry hails from Alec Berg & Bill Hader, the latter of whom stars as the title character. Hader picked up the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his work in Season 1.
Additionally, Barry won Emmy’s for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Henry Winkler), and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation.
Season 2 of Barry spans eight total episodes and Season 3 is expected to do the same. It’s way too early to speculate on a Barry Season 3 release date, though sometime in early 202o is a fairly safe bet.
New episodes of Barry Season 2 premiere Monday nights on HBO.
