For the first in, well, ever, live-action version of Disney’s Frozen sisters Anna and Elsa will grace the small screen in the upcoming fourth season of ABC’s Once Upon a Time. Actresses Elizabeth Lail (Anna) and Georgina Haig (Elsa) have scored these coveted roles, and we have the first images of the snowy sisters to share.
Anna and Elsa are expected to make their first appearance in the Season 4 premiere episode ‘A Tale of Two Sisters’ that will premiere on September 28, 2014. Details about the plot are being kept under tight wraps, but it is known that there will be an Ice Queen and there’s a possibility that Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost), already cast as an unnamed character, will slide into the villainous role.
The fourth Once Upon a Time-inspired character is Kristoff, to be played by Scott Michael Foster (Greek). He is unconfirmed to appear in the season premiere, but given the Frozen-tilt in play, it’s more than likely that is debut won’t take long to come around.
Take notice that Anna is holding a wedding dress in the second Once Upon a Time image. Will there be a wedding in Storybrooke, or Arendelle? There’s still a lot more unknown about how Frozen fits into Once Upon a Time than what we do know.
