Last season the Beck Brothers raised hell on Yellowstone by pressuring John to give them a piece of the ranch pie. That didn’t’ work out as Kayce killed teal, but we never saw Malcolm die after he was shot several times.
Trailers for Season 3 hints that Malcolm will be back at some point so one Beck remains and will likely be out for revenge on the Duttons.
We also have Josh Holloway of Lost and Colony fame joining the cast as Roarke Carter. He’s likely yet another player who has ambitious plans for the land surrounding Yellowstone ranch.
The official synopsis for Yellowstone Season 3 Episode 1 reads, “In the wake of the Beck Brothers, John reshuffles the political decks; Beth finds a trespasser on the ranch and learns that he may have big ambitions for the surrounding land; John helps Tate deal with his nightmares.”
