New and soon-to-be PlayStation 5 owner will be delighted to hear that the HBO Max app is now available to download and install on their PS5 consoles.
This is a big deal for Warner Bros. and Sony for several reasons, but one golden one in particular.
On December 25th, Wonder Woman 1984 will arrive simultaneously on HBO Max and in theaters in North America. That means anyone with a PS5 can easily signup for a free 7-day trial of HBO Max through the app or elsewhere, like Amazon Prime Channels, and watch the new Wonder Woman 1984 movie on Christmas Day, in its entirety, from the comfort of their home.
There’s still no word on when HBO Max will be available on Roku devices. With the countdown to Christmas now in single-digit days, odds are favorable that HBO and Roku are deep into discussions to make it happen before Wonder Woman 1984 arrives.
