HBO has set Tuesday, August 11th as the premiere date for Hard Knocks 2020 where film crews will tag along with the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams throughout their respective preseasons.
Yes, you read that correctly. Hard Knocks 2020 will feature two teams as opposed to one during these unprecedented times.
The pairing of these teams comes at a perfect time. Both will begin play this season at the new 70,000-seat SoFi stadium. Both will debut new uniforms, and both will have to contend with a bevy of new regulations put into place in order to prevent against teams contracting COVID-19.
Hard Knocks 2020 will be narrated by Liev Schreiber, marking the 14th of 15 seasons that he’s been in the role.
In addition, HBO Sports, NFL Media and NFL Films have reached a new multi-year renewal for the venerable documentary series.
The start time for Hard Knocks 2020 on August 11th is 10 pm ET with episodes running one hour in length. Subsequent episodes will premiere on the following Tuesdays through to the September 8th season finale.
In addition, Hard Knocks will be available to stream via HBO Max and partner platforms.
