Last year’s NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles San Diego Comic-Con exclusive 7″ set with Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello was beyond a huge hit.
Fans gobbled up the set in record time and cleaned NECA out. Subsequently an early 2019 limited reissue at GameStop with the Turtles as individual releases quickly came and went.
For 2019, NECA is rolling the TMNT dice once again and has revealed The Capture of Splinter. This second 7″ SDCC-exclusive figure four-pack is based on characters from the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
The Capture of Splinter includes figures of Splinter of course, Shredder with his cape, and two Foot Soldiers. Accessories are a whole mess of weapons, a massive weapons rack to store said weapons, chains for Splinter, a crate for Splinter to sit or stand on, and extra Foot Soldier hands in different poses.
Expect long lines at the NECA booth at SDCC 2019 for what will certainly be a hot exclusive. The retail price is $125.
