Paramount Home Entertainment has announced Zodiac: Director’s Cut is coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 27, just over a year after it was released a as then-HD DVD exclusive.
Zodiac on Blu-ray will be presented in widescreen 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus audio. The audio spec looks fishy to us so we’re going to keep our eyes open for a possible correction.
The supplemental features appear to be identical to what was released on Blu-ray. Unknown at this time is whether a second disc will be utilized like it was with HD DVD and the smaller storage capacity.
