Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced plans to bring the Jack Black, Michael Cera and Oliver Platt caveman comedy Year One to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on September 29.
Year One stumbled at the box office with a $42.4 million domestic gross and will look to make up some of its estimated $60 million budget on home video in a new unrated cut.
The Blu-ray version of Year One will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio. Two of the bonus features will be Blu-ray exclusives.
