Fox has released the first clip from Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class after barraging us with trailers and TV spots over the past few months.
In this first clip, Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) explains to the CIA’s top brass that mutants do exist while Raven Darkholme (Jennifer Lawrence) looks on silently. When Xavier reads their minds and divulges some national secrets, the CIA thinks he’s a spy — that is until Raven changes her appearance to mimic one of the agents as final proof.
X-Men: First Class also co-stars Michael Fassbender, January Jones, Rose Byrne, Kevin Bacon, Jason Flemyng, Nicholas Hoult, Lucas Till, Zoe Kravitz, Edi Gathegi and Oliver Platt. The X-Men story begins on June 3.
