After watching their son temporarily “die” and then return to save the planet in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Ron and Judy Witwicky will continue their adventures alongside alien robots in Transformers 3.
Per Variety, actors Kevin Dunn and Julie White have each inked deal to reprise their roles as Sam’s parents in the third Transformers installment that will begin shooting this summer under the direction of Michael Bay. Their appearance assures a role in each Transformers film thus far.
Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are already set to reprise their roles as Sam and Mikaela, while newcomers John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Ken Jeong will join the cast.
Transformers 3 will arrive in theaters on July 1, 2011.
