Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced the goof ball comedy Witless Protection starring Larry the Cable Guy and Jenny McCarthy will “Git R’ Done” June 10 on Blu-ray Disc. The release is timed day-and-date with the standard DVD, and marks the second appearance for Larry the Cable Guy in high-def after Delta Farce, also published by Lionsgate.
Technical specs have yet to be issued by the studio but you can safely assume widescreen 1080p video and either 5.1 or 7.1 DTS-HD Master Lossless Audio.
Supplemental features shared by the DVD and Blu-ray Disc versions include three featurettes: “Making Witless: ‘The Cast on the Cast,'” “Larry’s Use of the Analogy” and “The Musicians of Witless Protection.”
Additional features exclusive two Blu-ray include two featurettes: “A Cast of Critters” and “Die Laughing!” – The Witless Blooper Reel, along with deleted and extended scenes.
