Watch The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 405

AMC’s The Walking Dead Season 4 didn’t bluff and played a major chess piece last week, the repercussions of which should ring loudly in tonight’s all-new episode that kicks off the second quarter of the season. Showrunner Scott Gimple tweeted that “big things” are going down tonight earlier this week, so get ready for The Walking Dead to begin a hard march toward the midseason finale. There is no official online free live streaming version of tonight’s The Walking Dead episode 405 ‘Internment’ to watch online, but live stream options active once the episode completes airing can be found by following the links below.

A spoiler warning for the previous episodes is in effect from this point forward. Last Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead ended with Rick making a gut decision that Carol was a threat to his family and needed to leave the group immediately. Carol shed some tears but accepted her banishment, taking some supplies, gasoline and a car to drive off to who-knows-where.

We don’t know when Carol will come back but it’s a pretty safe bet we haven’t seen the last of her. As Rick said, she’ll probably latch onto some other group and eventually cross paths with Rick and his folks again. Who knows; she may even come across the Governor and neither have seen each other before. The possibilities are endless and Carol is too strong a character not to return.

The repercussions of Rick’s decision will likely turn many back at the prison against him, including the two kids that Carol had become a sort-of mother to. Daryl won’t be pleased, for sure. The council that Carol sat on were responsible for all major decisions, and Rick went right over their head to throw Carol out. It’s not the return of the Ricktatorship just yet, but there’s definitely some bite taking the place of the farmer persona that Rick tried and failed to embody.

We learned a little bit more about Bob Stookey in the last episode as it turned out he was more interested in stuffing his backpack with a giant bottle of booze rather than meds. Daryl took huge offense to this and nearly threw some punches, but he held back and laid down terms that if Bob crosses the line again, he’s done. I get the impression this won’t be the last confrontation between these two.

I sincerely hope ‘Internment’ isn’t the last of Hershel that we will see. If you recall, Hershel entered cell block A with the sick group and let himself get infected to help them control their symptoms. Given Hershel’s age, I’d hate to see him go down from an illness when he brings so much gravitas to the show. Then again, if the prison is abandoned then it will be hard for Hershel to be on the run with only one good leg.

Here’s a preview tease before you watch ‘Internment’ tonight, the final “I” episode, in the form of the official synopsis that reads, “Multiple enemies put pressure on Rick and the group. Could this finally be the breaking point for the survivors and the prison?” Those multiple enemies sound an awful lot like pressure on Rick for tossing Carol to the curb to me.
