It all ended for Daniel Radcliffe and the cast and crew of the Harry Potter film franchise when filming wrapped on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The goodbyes were naturally emotional for all involved.
A short featurette, sure to pop up on the Blu-ray and DVD of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, has come online and gives us a sneak peek into the last days of filming on the decade-long franchise. Stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint each sound off on what the franchise has meant to them.
It’s touching when Radcliffe gets on top of a stool and addresses his fellow cast and the crew behind the films for presumably the last time. I dare anyone easily put to tears not to shed one when the trio of young stars embrace.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will bring the Harry Potter film series to an end in 11 days on July 15. The eighth and final Harry Potter will be the first in the franchise that will be presented in 3D.
