Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced ‘Warriors of Heaven and Earth’ will be released March 27 on Blu-ray Disc, despite similar and more recognized ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ continuing to remain indefinitely delayed from its high-def debut.
‘Warriors of Heaven and Earth’ will be presented in widescreen 2.4:1 1080p video and presumably PCM 5.1 audio in English and Mandarin Chinese, though specific audio specs have yet to be confirmed. Special features mirror those found on the DVD version and include the ‘Warriors of Peace’ music video by Jolin Tsai and The Making of ‘Warriors of Heaven and Earth.’
‘Warriors of Heaven and Earth’ will carry an SRP of $28.95.
