Warner Reaffirms Batman Anthology for Blu-ray on March 10

There is good in Gotham after all. Today Warner Home Video reaffirmed their plans to release the Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology on Blu-ray Disc March 10 after retailers removed the set from their listings earlier this month.

Warner has priced the Batman Anthology on Blu-ray at $129.95 which should shake out to around $90 on Amazon.com when it goes up for pre-order.

Nothing has changed in terms of specs or contents on the five discs that will comprise this set. You’ll still get all four films: Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin with widescreen 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio on BD-50 discs packaged in individual slipcases.

The first Batman film, which will be available as a Digi-book release from Warner in May, will come packaged with a digital copy of the film housed on the fifth disc. Its three sequels will not, nor are there currently plans to release them individually.
