They may be chunkier but they’re still as funny as ever. The original “Swingers” Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau are reuniting on the big screen in Couples Retreat.
Peter Billingsley is directing the comedy from a script penned by Favreau, still riding high after his success directing Iron Man. He’ll have to keep his mind focused on comedy and not Iron Man 2, expected to begin shooting next year.
In the film, four couples venture to a tropical island resort where one is going for therapy and the others are going to party. Problem is, all the couples are required to participate in the sessions.
Co-starring alongside Favreau and Vaughn are Hancock and Arrested Development alum Jason Bateman and Faizon Love from The Perfect Holiday.
Couples Retreat will go in front of cameras in Bora Bora(!) and Los Angeles sometime in late October.
