Vera Farmiga’s (Up in the Air) directorial debut Higher Ground starring herself, Taissa Farmiga, Donna Murphy and John Hawkes is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on January 10.
Higher Ground is inspired by the Carolyn S. Briggs’ memoir, This Dark World, and tells the story of a woman who bounces back after struggling with love, trust and belief. It opened in limited release on August 26, 2011, and grossed $810k at the box office.
The Blu-ray edition of Higher Ground will be presented in 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features will include all of the following:
