Shane Carruth’s Upstream Color is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on May 7 per a pre-order listing at Amazon.com.
Upstream Color debuted at the most recent Sundance Film Festival and recently played at South by Southwest 2013 where our own Matt Hardeman was able to catch the screening. In his words immediately tweeted after the screening concluded, Upstream Color is a “beautifully filmed, disjointed narrative that forces the viewer to take part… there’s such a subtle power to the images and performances. The score is affecting in a way all it’s own.”
