Update: HBO has finally announced that True Blood: Season Three will make its Blu-ray Disc and DVD debut on May 31, a couple weeks ahead of when season four is expected to premiere on-air.

Original Article: The eventual home video release of HBO’s True Blood: Season 3 is still many months off but that doesn’t mean the “Trubies” cannot start to plan ahead.
In an unusually early move, Amazon.com is already taking orders for the Blu-ray Disc and DVD release of True Blood: Season 3 starring Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard. There is no release date yet, but the set is not expected in stores until Memorial Day weekend of 2011. Season 4 of the hit vampire show is expected to debut sometime in June 2011.
