Super 8, the last of the big early summer blockbusters to be announced for home video, has finally been assigned a November 22 release date for Blu-ray and DVD.
The story of a small town whose invasion by a creature helps bring fractured families together, Super 8 draws on the childhood nostalgia of writer/director J.J. Abrams and 1970s films from Steven Spielberg, who served as producer on the film. It stars a mix of veteran and young talented actors including Elle Fanning, Gabriel Basso, Zach Mills, Joel Courtney, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee, Kyle Chandler and Ron Eldard.
Super 8 on Blu-ray will come packaged with the DVD version and a digital copy. The feature will be presented in 1080p video and 7.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.
Over two hours worth of bonus features will be packed onto the Super 8 Blu-ray including:
