Update: Poltergeist cover art and disc specs added.
Warner Home Video has announced a pair of coveted catalog horror titles are coming to Blu-ray Disc in October.
On October 7, Interview with the Vampire starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Kirsten Dunst will be released in a standard jewel case. It will carry an SRP of $28.99.
A week later on October 14 will see the release of Poltergeist: 25th Anniversary Edition. This set, housed in a digibook case with never-before-available photos, is modeled after last year’s anniversary DVD set. Like that set it includes the new documentary They Are Here: The Real World of Poltergeists Revealed, as well as a “digital transfer from regenerated picture elements.” Audio will be presented in 5.1 Dolby TrueHD. The SRP on Poltergeist is $34.99.
