Updated: If you missed a peek at Mattel’s Parallax toy from The Green Lantern film then you’re out of luck. Mattel has cracked down on the toy images floating around and we’ve obliged by pulling ours that originated from TheFwoosh.com.
New York’s Toy Fair brings us our first look at Parallax as he’s likely to look in The Green Lantern movie this summer.
The Parallax toy is packaged in “The Final Showdown” set that also includes a Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan / Green Lantern action figure. A closer look at Mattel’s package configuration makes it look like Parallax is chomping on Green Lantern’s head. At least the movie’s main villain has a head and features rather than being a large swirling cloud.
With the Parallax toy image cat out of the bag, there’s now a possibility the next trailer for The Green Lantern movie will give us a glimpse of this orange menace on-screen. I’m guessing he’s a lot bigger than the toy infers.
