Paramount and Dreamworks Home Entertainment have announced Kung Fu Panda is coming to Blu-ray on Sunday, November 9, day-and-date with DVD and two days before the previously anticipated November 11 release.
The move is speculated to create an additional two days of distance from Disney’s Wall-E, scheduled for release on November 18. Panda will now have 9 days as the only big animated new release on store shelves.
Kung Fu Panda will be presented in widescreen 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.
Two Blu-ray exclusive BD-Live features will be included: A Day in the Life: A Shaolin Monk in Training, and Po Around the World. The remaining supplemental features, some of which are presented in HD, are as follows.
