Updated: Body Heat to Sizzle on Blu-ray; Specs and Cover Art

Warner Home Video has announced the 1980s erotic thriller Body Heat starring William Hurt and Kathleen Turner will debut in high definition on Blu-ray Disc.

Body Heat joins Otis, Rest Stop and Rest Stop: Don’t Look Back to fill out Warner’s October “thriller” wave of Blu-ray titles all scheduled for release on October 7.

Body Heat on Blu-ray will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.

A trio of inclusive extra features previously released on the deluxe edition DVD include the following.

  • 1981 interview footage with Kathleen Turner and William Hurt
  • Body Heat: The Plan: Screening and Casting
  • The Production: Filming
  • The Post-Production: Editing, Scoring and Release
  • Five lifted scenes
  • Theatrical trailer

Body Heat on Blu-ray will carry an SRP of $28.99. Check back regularly for additional disc specs and high resolution cover art.
