Warner Home Video has announced the 1980s erotic thriller Body Heat starring William Hurt and Kathleen Turner will debut in high definition on Blu-ray Disc.
Body Heat joins Otis, Rest Stop and Rest Stop: Don’t Look Back to fill out Warner’s October “thriller” wave of Blu-ray titles all scheduled for release on October 7.
Body Heat on Blu-ray will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.
A trio of inclusive extra features previously released on the deluxe edition DVD include the following.
- 1981 interview footage with Kathleen Turner and William Hurt
- Body Heat: The Plan: Screening and Casting
- The Production: Filming
- The Post-Production: Editing, Scoring and Release
- Five lifted scenes
