Director Jonathan Glazer’s critically lauded Under The Skin starring Scarlett Johansson will make its Blu-ray and DVD debut on a release date of July 15.
Under The Skin, based on the novel by Michel Faber, tracks a seductive alien (Johansson) as she preys on men and ultimately discovers what it is like to be human through her fake human facade. The film was released domestically by A24 and has earned $1.838 million in limited release.
Lionsgate is presenting Under The Skin on Blu-ray in 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. A lone bonus feature, the Making of Under the Skin featurette, will be included on the Blu-ray and DVD editions of the film. In addition, the Blu-ray edition will come with a Digital HD version of the film.
