The latest batch of screenshots to surface from Ubisoft and Free Radical’s Playstation 3 timed exclusive ‘Haze’ focus on one of the game’s most anticipated modes: 4-player cooperative play. We’ve already seen this enticing mode announced for ‘Halo 3’ on Xbox 360, so maybe we’re looking at a new trend in the gaming world where playing alongside your pals is just as fun as blowing them up.
A ‘Haze’ release date is somewhat of a, well, haze at this point. Retailer listings point towards a November 19 debut on Playstation 3, and rumors peg an Xbox 360 version to follow sometime next year. Though, we wouldn’t be surprised if the PS3 version slid into early 2007. Anything can happen until Ubisoft openly confirms a date.
