True Blood has already offered several secondary characters in the past few weeks. After a promo spot called ‘Death’ and the season 4 finale being titled ‘And When I Die,’ there’s bound to be more blood spilled as another season comes to a close.
In the first of the last new True Blood sneak peeks, HBO throws a monkey wrench into Sookie’s love life in the form of hulking Alcide. He’s got a pitch to make, but there’s no telling whether Sookie is willing to “bite” or not.
Tommy Mickens, one of the offed characters in recent weeks, is laid to rest in the second clip. It’s tough to say kind things about a character despised by nearly every viewer and character in the show. Yet Sam comes up with the perfect line to send his brother off.
The big story to play out will revolve around Lafayette, currently possessed by Marne, taking on Jesus and the vampires. Jesus looks like the most likely character to meet an untimely demise, but maybe that’s the line of thought showrunner Alan Ball wants us to focus on when he throws tosses a few unexpected curveballs.
To wrap up True Blood season 4, I’ve also included the short trailer for ‘And When I Die’ to compliment the new clips.
May the best supernaturals and humans alike survive when True Blood wraps up season 4 tonight at 9pm EST/PST on HBO.
