True Blood showrunner Alan Ball avoided a massive fan revolt by letting Eric and Sookie finish what they started at the conclusion of last week’s episode. Eric and Sookie, in the swampy grass. The real full moon is Eric’s white… well, you know.
With the big hookup is out of the way, now what? According to the trailer for the next episode, Marne and her “dark passenger” are out to wage revenge on vampires and president Bill seems like a strong target. A vampire will be lit up in broad daylight. Is that Jessica? Pam? A vampire at all? Someone is going to get torched.
A lingering question is whether Jason went were-panther or not. Sookie didn’t think to see he would but she got caught up in Eric’s loins before she could find out. Jessica has the inside track, and apparently whatever happened in the woods has Hoyt feeling jealous.
It looks like Lafayette and Jesus will be spending some more quality time down in Mexico learning how to protect themselves. Maybe what they learn will help the vampire avoid extinction at the hands of an old vindictive witch spirit.
As for Tommy, he’s found yet another way to cross the line with his brother. Did he ever think sleeping with Sam’s girlfriend for the first time would be a good idea? Maybe he’ll turn into himself during the “act” so Sam will be off the hook.
