Capone over at AICN has published an incredibly in-depth set report from the summer shoot of Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon that took place in downtown Chicago. It’s well worth a read though might be considered spoilerish for anyone who deliberately avoided all the set videos that hit the web from the windy city.
Buried within Capone’s piece is the first confirmed release date for the Transformers 3 teaser trailer. It will first appear online this Wednesday, December 8 at 7pm EST/4pm PST at Apple Trailers. It will be attached to Fox’s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader this upcoming weekend and Disney’s Tron: Legacy next week.
A leaked description of this trailer, if proven legitimate, indicates it will be a lot of tease and not much else. Most of the footage is described to be from the Apollo 11 moon landing with a couple quick glimpses of Transformers robots at the end.
