BBC Home Video will continue releasing Torchwood on Blu-ray Disc with the second season confirmed for a July 7 arrival.
Season One of Torchwood was released last year but there was never any indication whether sales were strong enough for BBC to continue forward with another season on the pricier Blu-ray format.
Torchwood: Season Two on Blu-ray will span four BD-50 discs and be presented in 1.78:1 1080p video and either 5.1 Dolby TrueHD or Dolby Digital audio.
Bonus features will total over 3 hours and will include at least the following though possibly more.
- The Lives and Deaths of Captain Jack
- Torchwood Declassified Featurettes
- Outtakes and Deleted Scenes
- Interviews
- character profiles!
