Marvel is expanding its cross-pollination of characters between its film and television properties by sliding Titus Welliver (Lost) as Agent Blake into an upcoming episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
If you don’t recall who Agent Blake is, don’t worry as I didn’t either when Marvel first released the news. Agent Blake appeared in the Marvel One-Shot Item 47 as a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative tasked with tracking down a missing Chitauri weapon being used by a young couple to rob banks. He eventually catches his targets and enlists them into S.H.I.E.L.D.
The upcoming Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode featuring Agent Blake is titled ‘FZZT’ and the official synopsis reads as follows, “When floating bodies turn up, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D must hunt down an elusive killer. No one is safe–not even the team.”
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. just picked up a full 22-episode season order and airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC.
