Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World will clear its three-month minimum window between theatrical and home video in early February. A Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD release date is imminent, and online retailer Amazon.com may have let the cat out of the bag early.
Currently Amazon is listing a February 25, 2014 release date next to the DVD and single-disc Blu-ray versions of Thor: The Dark World. The Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray combo packs do not have a release date listed, but that’s not uncommon for Amazon.
Thor: The Dark World on Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray will include an all-new Marvel One Shot film as well as a sneak peek at Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I will pass along the official announcement with the complete rundown of bonus features as soon as it is made by Marvel and Disney.
