Who is more the thief? The man who goes around stealing from the rich, or the rich who use any means necessary to build their fortune while others suffer and starve?
That’s one of many questions at the center of Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal’s Thief, the first next generation installment of the ongoing franchise that hopes to accomplish the same kind of success in revitalizing the brand that Tomb Raider did for its brand. Thief is now confirmed for a February 25, 2014 release in North America on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC.
In the trailer you will meet Garrett the Master Thief, a true specialist at his craft who gets caught up in the war between Baron Northcrest and Orion, a voice of the oppressed people. You will get a flavor of this conflict in the freshly released “Uprising” cinematic trailer timed to coincide with the start of Gamescom next week.
