Zack Snyder’s The Watchmen continues to sit atop Amazon’s hourly Blu-ray bestsellers sales chart where it will likely remain up until and possibly through its July 21 release.
Not even a killer deal on 2001: A Space Odyssey, a gorgeous disc from Warner Home Video, has managed to oust The Watchmen from its throne. A new sale price on 2001 of only $11.49 has sent it skyrocketing into the number two sales spot.
Another great deal on a Warner title sees The Matrix: 10th Anniversary Digi-book Edition priced at a mere $13.99, good enough for the number three spot. If you’ve been holding out for a new copy of The Matrix on Blu-ray you’re not likely to find it any cheaper than this anytime soon.
Other Blu-ray bestsellers at Amazon include recent release Ghostbusters; Transformers, riding on the success of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen; continually hot Planet Earth: The Complete Series; and Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino.
