When Shane busted open the barn and exterminated the zombies inside during the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, he didn’t make too many friends in the process. Shane was already starting to loose touch with the Gang when he decided to abandon the search for poor little Sophia.
In the next episode of The Walking Dead titled ‘Triggerfinger,’ Andrea steps up to the plate and confronts Shane about his “presentation leaving something to be desired.” She tells him he needs a “lighter touch” to get his points across; not necessarily disagreeing with his decisions, but in how he handles executing them within the dynamic of a group.
Shane, of course, remains on edge, and disagrees vehemently with Andrea’s plea. He realizes no one really wants him around anymore and admits that he should have left the Gang when he had the chance. His future with the Gang is more clouded than ever.
‘Triggerfinger’ will try to keep The Walking Dead’s record-setting ratings alive when it premieres this upcoming Sunday at 9/8 central.
