McFarlane Toys revealed plans for their next series of action figures based on The Walking Dead AMC television series at Toy Fair 2012 on Sunday.
The good news is five new figures will be joining Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, and the two Walkers currently available. The bad news is the next series won’t arrive in stores until October, a full year after series 1 was released.
Joining the ranks from The Walking Dead: Season 1 are a second version of Rick Grimes and the infamous “bicycle girl” zombie that Rick puts out of her misery. Season 2 additions include Shane Walsh, the “RV” zombie that goes after Andrea, and the bloated “well” zombie that Glenn gets introduced to up close and personal.
McFarlane Toys did not announced a second series of The Walking Dead action figures based on the comic book at Toy Fair 2012, but it is assume that those are currently in the works as well.
