The Walking Dead Season 4 EW Covers Feature Rick, Carl and Daryl

The Walking Dead Season 4 EW Covers Feature Rick, Carl and DarylIt won’t be long now until AMC releases the first trailer for The Walking Dead: Season 4. The trailer is set to debut during the Comic-Con panel this Friday, and it is widely expected to be released online shortly thereafter.

As anticipation for our first look at Season 4 of The Walking Dead builds, AMC has been trickling out little teases that catch up with Rick and his crew. We have seen Rick in the woods, a Comic-Con banner featuring Rick, Michonne and Tyrese, and we have seen Daryl sporting a bandana over his face. A silly staged publicity gif of Maggie and Glenn kissing was also released yesterday, but isn’t really relevant to the new season.

Today’s goodies come in the form of three Entertainment Weekly covers that each offer a look at Rick, his son Carl, and Daryl Dixon. Rick and Daryl look about the same as they always have, but Carl looks especially menacing and ready to begin a power struggle with his father. Those seeds were planted in the closing episodes of Season 3 and are expected to sprout in the upcoming season.

In addition to AMC’s panel and trailer, ThreeZero toys is debuting high-end 1:6 scale The Walking Dead action figures based on the AMC television series. Michonne’s zombie pets will definitely be on display, and Merle Dixon with little Merle is also rumored to make an appearance. I will pass along images of all the figures on display as early as this evening and definitely by tomorrow.
