What will the prison look like when Rick and his group discover it in the Season 3 premiere of The Walking Dead? That is one of the things you will get to see below in 10 mostly new images from the premiere episode ‘Seed’ released this morning.
Several of these images were released last week in much smaller form as exclusives across a wide variety of websites. I found some of them then and collected them in this post, but others apparently were either in existence or are making their debut this morning.
I especially like the shot of Rick discovering the prison, an armed Hershel looking like a disheveled mess, and Carl taking aim with his gun from high ground. The innocent Carl from Season 1 is no more. This Carl means business.
The official synopsis for ‘Seed’ reads, “With the world growing increasingly more dangerous and Lori’s pregnancy advancing, Rick discovers a potentially safe haven. But first he must secure the premises, pushing his group to its limit.”
The Walking Dead: Season 3 kicks off Sunday, October 14 on AMC. I will have some thoughts and sneak peek insight into the premiere episode before then so stay tuned.
