The Walking Dead Season 3 Adds Dallas Roberts as Original Character Milton

The Walking Dead Season 3 Adds Dallas Roberts as Original Character MiltonAfter Season 3 of AMC’s The Walking Dead, a dorky desk worker from Office Space might no longer be who you associate the name Milton with.

AMC has revealed that Dallas Roberts will appear in Season 3 of The Walking Dead as Milton, an original character created specifically for the television series. We don’t know what episode Milton will debut in, but it will likely be an episode featuring prominent time within the confines of Woodbury.

Producer Robert Kirkman describes Milton to EW as “the details guy,” a right-hand man of the Woodbury Governor with a good head on his shoulders. He provides the Governor with information about “situations” that arise, as well as behaviors and habits of the zombies. Kirkman also reveals that Milton will be performing zombie experiments that will be “a lot of fun.”

Milton is the antithesis of Rick’s group. Rather than learn how to fend off zombies with brute force, Milton uses his mind to outsmart and outthink the zombies. He’s a great asset to Woodbury and is being portrayed as a good guy, even if the man he works for is not.

Roberts is no stranger to AMC having starred in the single season drama Rubicon. He also appeared in The Grey with Liam Neeson, as well as The Good Wife.

The Walking Dead: Season 3 premieres Sunday, October 14 on AMC.
