MacFarlane Toys has teamed up with Anchor Bay Home Entertainment to offer up a little extra treat when The Walking Dead: Season 2 arrives on Blu-ray and DVD later this year.
Today at Toy Fair 2012, MacFarlane Toys unveiled a zombie head package for the special edition release of The Walking Dead: Season 2 on Blu-ray (and likely DVD as well, though that is currently unconfirmed). No other details about the release are available at this time, and likely won’t be announced for a few more months.
The zombie head is appropriately rotting with chunks of flesh missing, and stuck on a pedestal as if recently separated from the body it was once attached to. Completing the gory effect is a screwdriver rammed through its eye and into the eye socket.
Access to the Blu-rays inside is achieved by popping the head up like a Pez dispenser. Is that a great effect or what?
