The Walking Dead: Season 2 premiere closed with a “bang,” literally, as a shot rang out in the woods and a character fell with a bullet hole to their chest. Spoilers from the premiere episode follow so continue at your own risk.
With Carl Grimes critically injured, ‘Bloodletting’ kicks off by revealing who pulled the trigger that will turn the world of Rick, Lori, and even Shane upside down. New characters fresh from The Walking Dead comic will be introduced, and the tension that built throughout the premiere will continue to grip audiences.
If you thought Carl being shot or Sophia being chased by zombies was rough on kids, you haven’t seen anything yet. Though it may not seem possible, life for the survivors is about to go from bad to worse. On the bright side, a horse returns to the show and doesn’t get (for now, at least) munched on by zombies.
