The Walking Dead is a hot commodity for AMC coming off its basic cable record-setting Season 2 premiere on Sunday evening. You can read all about The Walking Dead: Season 2 premiere ratings here.
Wasting no time in keeping the momentum moving in the right direction, a preview clip for the next episode has already been available. It features some of the most controversial dialogue to appear on the show yet.
Spoiler warnings apply for the following footage. If you haven’t seen the premiere episode yet, I recommend you turn back now else be spoiled by my preface to the clip and the clip itself. You’ve been warned.
In the second episode of The Walking Dead titled ‘Bloodletting,’ T-Dog and Dale remain at the RV while the rest of the group scours the woods in search of missing Sophia. They have no idea Carl, Rick and Shane have split off from the main group, and no idea that Carl has taken a rifle bullet in the chest.
T-Dog is suffering from an arm wound that has turned into a nasty infection. It appears to be clouding his judgment as he rants to Dale about why they were the ones left behind at the “camp,” even playing the dreaded “race card” as his rant progresses.
What do you think of T-Dog’s rant? Is it appropriate for the character given his state of mind due to the injury? Or is it completely unnecessary and planted for shock value? I find it humorous that Dale keeps getting caught up in the survivors’ personal psychological drama.
Look for The Walking Dead ‘Bloodletting’ to premiere this upcoming Sunday at 9pm EST/PST on AMC.
