AMC is currently shooting season 2 of The Walking Dead in and around Atlanta, Georgia, and cameras are on hand to capture not only the show but reactions and thoughts from the cast and crew as well.
In a new featurette, writer/producer Frank Darabont along with a few members of his cast and crew talk about returning to the show during the first day of shooting season 2. You’ll get a sneak peek at some shots being filmed that insinuate the fate of the survivor caravan that escaped downtown Atlanta in the season 2 finale. Stick around through the whole two minutes and you’ll get a chuckle from Glenn and a zombie getting cozy in a car.
The first footage from The Walking Dead season 2 is expected – though unconfirmed – to debut in roughly a month’s time at Comic-Con in San Diego. The new season premiere will take place in either October or November.
