The McFarlane Toys booth at Toy Fair 2013 brought us our first glimpse at The Walking Dead TV Series 4 figures due in stores later this year, as well as revealed the full five-figure lineup. In addition, the TV Series 3 figures that are trickling out to retailers now are also on display.
The Walking Dead TV Series 4 will add two new members to Rick’s group in the form of his son, Carl, and former member Andrea. In addition, the Governor with his signature eye patch and a pair of riot gear zombies, one with a gas mask and one without, will round out the wave.
A 2-up of Carl is on display at Toy Fair and you can check him out in all his high resolution glory below by click either of the images. I’m not necessarily seeing Chandler Riggs’ likeness in the sculpt and paint apps, but the overall figure should fit in nicely with the rest of the line that includes a pair of Ricks, Daryl, Shane, Merle and Michonne.
It seems like Series 4 would have been the perfect time to introduce T-Dog to the line, especially considering the riot shield that became his signature look in the beginning of Season 3. It’s hard to imagine that T-Dog will get his due now that new characters are being introduced that will require slots.
