Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) are back where they started after the zombie apocalypse began in AMC’s The Walking Dead, on their own and traversing the Georgia woods in search of food and shelter to survive.
Only Daryl is not the same man Merle knew before, and that’s sure to lead to tension between the Dixon brothers and a possible eventual mutual parting. Blood can only keep them together and on the same page for so long.
AMC is featuring Daryl and Merle in half the images for The Walking Dead: Season 3 episode 310 ‘Home.’ You can already start to see some potential disagreement between Merle and Daryl in the first image. I like to think of this as stoking a fire with no water around to put it out.
Michonne (Danai Gurira) gets the next two images in what appears to be a sequence involving defending the prison against the Governor or perhaps a Woodbury scouting team. Though both images appear to be next to the same overturned blue prison bus, she has her sword in one and a machine gun in the other.
The final image shows increasingly unstable Rick (Andrew Lincoln) laying low in the grass either just inside or outside the prison, on the lookout for hostiles.
The Walking Dead: Season 3 episode 310 ‘Home’ premieres this upcoming Sunday at 9/8c on AMC.
