Fox Home Entertainment has dished out the full scoop on the June 16 debut of Mel Brooks’ Star Wars spoof Spaceballs on Blu-ray Disc.
In keeping with the continually evolving industry trend, Fox is packaging the stardard def DVD version of Spaceballs in with the Blu-ray version. The DVD will be a flipper, too; widescreen on side A and full-screen on side B.
Tech specs for Spaceballs in high-def will deliver a 1.85:1 1080p transfer and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. No word on D-BOX support at this time.
Bonus features have been culled from the previous DVD release and will be presented in standard definition.
