Genius Weinstein has announced The Reader starring Kate Winslet in a Best Actress Academy Award winning role as a former Nazi Concentration Camp guard will be released on Blu-ray Disc on April 28.
We had initially expected The Reader to be available on April 14. That date still stands for the DVD edition, but Blu-ray owners will have to wait an additional 2 seeks to see Kate in the bathtub.
Unfortunately no additional details are available at this time. We’ve got our eyes open for bonus features, an Amazon.com pre-order link (which was up but was taken down) as well as high-res cover art.
