Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’ will be available March 27 on Blu-ray Disc, day-and-date with the standard DVD release.
Extra features will be identical across both the DVD and Blu-ray editions and will be comprised of Father and Son: Onscreen and Off, The Man Behind the Movie: A Conversation with Chris Gardner, Making Pursuit: An Italian Take on the American Dream, Inside the Rubik’s Cube, Audio Commentary with director Gabriele Muccino, and the “I Can” Song (audio only). Technical specs have yet to be made available though they should follow Sony’s pattern of PCM 5.1 audio and 1080p video.
